Sandy Fraser:

  
  Before joining our firm, Sandy enjoyed a successful career in trust administration and banking.  Her educational background includes a 3-year course of study in the Florida Graduate Trust School with the Florida Bankers Association as well as majoring in Legal Secretarial and Business at Niagara County Community College.  Having lived in the area since 1975, Sandy's strong trust administration background has provided a good basis to work in the estate administration and probate area within our office.  She is great with people, has a pleasant smile and is willing to pitch in wherever she is needed.  Sandy and her husband live in Englewood and enjoy boating.  She has a grown son and a daughter who is currently a student at Manatee Community College.  

Mary Horlick:

  
  Mary attended Michigan State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design.  She and Mike were married in Detroit in 1968 and moved to Williamsburg, Virginia, in 1970 for Mike to attend law school.  After working to help pay tuition, Mary retired temporarily to devote full time to raising their two sons.  Upon moving from Cleveland to Venice in 1980, she was an active volunteer with the Venice Area Art League, South County Family YMCA and Sarasota County public schools.  Mary then managed the Kane's Furniture Store and Design Center in Venice before joining the law firm in 1992.  She is the law firm's office manager and also assists wherever needed.  Mary currently serves the Venice community as Chairman of the Architectural Review Board.  

Becky Schultz:

  
  Becky grew up in Grand Island, New York, before moving with her parents to Florida in 1979.  She attended and later began her career at Manatee Community College, working for the dean of students.  Becky assists in the area of estate planning, wills and trusts and has worked along side Mike as a legal secretary since 1989.  She always has a warm, friendly smile and pleasant greeting for everyone who calls or stops by, and she's extremely dedicated to her work and to those around her.  Becky and her husband, Rick, have one young son named Shawn who is a constant joy to all.  They enjoy the outdoors, and the family loves to go camping on weekends with their dog.  

Faye Theis:

  
  Faye is the newest addition to our office, working in the corporate and business area.  All who meet Faye understand why her last name rhymes with "nice."  She studied cost and general accounting at the University of Chattanooga and worked in the textile industry where she met her husband, Fred Theis, a C.P.A.  They moved to Englewood in 1979, opened their own office, and worked together until Fred passed away in 1997.  She continued accounting work in Englewood until recently deciding she just couldn't face "another tax season."  Faye has served the community as a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Englewood Advisory Board.  She's currently on the Sarasota Community Foundation's scholarship committee for Lemon Bay High School as well as serving as treasurer and a volunteer with the Day Care Center at Christ United Methodist Church.  

Bill Twohig:

  
  Bill is the President of  Kantel Data Systems, LLC, a software development company.  Kantel Data is our systems administrator.  Bill graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, with a degree in Mathematics.  He was a math teacher at St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio prior to heading south to Venice where he spent fourteen years as Director of Data Processing for the Catholic Diocese of Venice in Florida.  In 2001, Bill ventured out on his own with Kantel, making the natural progression from both of his earlier careers by producing database applications for both educational and business purposes.  He is a tireless worker and a real asset to our office.  We are fortunate to have him working with us, keeping our computer systems running smoothly and designing and maintaining the database and document assembly programming for our firm.
